Day 1: Arrive Srinagar
On your arrival at Srinagar airport our representative will meet & greet and transfer you to the Houseboat. Welcome drink on arrival. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in the houseboat.

 

Day 2: Srinagar
After breakfast visit the Mughal Gardens, Chashmi-e Shahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of pleasure) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). Afternoon at leisure or optionally enjoy a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake (at extra cost). Overnight in the houseboat.

 

Day 3: Srinagar / Gulmarg / Srinagar (112 Kms)
After breakfast full day excursion of Gulmarg - the most beautiful summer resort in the valley. It is popular for its highest golf course and skiing in winters. You can enjoy a pony ride and also enjoy a Gondola ride (cable car) to Kangdori / Alpatar (at your own cost). Return to the houseboat by evening for overnight stay.

 

Day 04: Srinagar / Kargil (Via Sonmarg)
Morning after breakfast drive to Kargil via Sonmarg. Sonmarg - which is one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. On arrival in Kargil check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 05: Kargil / Leh
Morning after breakfast drive to Leh. Enroute visit Lamayuru Monastery (time permitting). On arrival chack-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 06: Leh (Full day monasteries tour)
Breakfast at the hotel. This day we take you for full day excursion of Thiksey Monastery. It is better to visit early morning to see sunrise and praying ceremony. Also visit Hemis Monastery which is one of the biggest in this region. While returning to Leh visit Shey Palace. Packed lunch will be provided. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner & overnight.

 

Day 07: Leh (KhardungLa pass : 43 Kms. & City tour of Leh)
After breakfast drive to Khardung la, the highest motorable road in the world at 5600 meters. The views from the top of the pass are amazing. This road carries on to the Nubra Valley. Return to the hotel for hot lunch. After lunch we take you for a tour of Leh city visiting Sangkar, Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 08: Leave Leh
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to onward destination.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but some hotels only provide a roll out bed and have no provision of an extra bed.

2. Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.

3. The vehicle used is non air-conditioned and is available for point to point services only and is not at disposal. Clients are requested to follow the timings in the program. In case any services are missed due to delay in departure, the operator will not be responsible for any refunds.

4. Srinagar vehicle is not allowed to do any local sightseeing in Sonmarg, Gulmarg & Pahalgam and hence no local sightseeing in these places is included.

5. Mughal Gardens remain closed on Fridays.

6. Child sharing parents room will not be provided an extra bed.
